How to Change a Debit or Proforma Invoice Into a Credit Note?
Crediting invoices is an important financial process that allows for correcting errors or reflecting changes in business operations. It is crucial to comply with legal requirements and properly document the credit process to maintain accurate financial records.
Issue an invoice
Select the invoice you want to change from the list of invoices
Expand the invoice, click on OTHER ACTIONS and select CREATE A CREDIT NOTE
Fill in all details
You may need to select an invoice series, all other information is carried over from the original invoice.
Create a credit note by clicking CREATE INVOICE
Credit note will appear in the same invoice list
How to do it?
